Delete your My Quran Official account
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This page is for users of the My Quran Official mobile app and Quran Academy online services who want to request that their account and associated personal data be deleted.
How to request account deletion
- Option 1 (recommended): Submit the form below using the same name and email linked to your My Quran Official account. Write that you want your account deleted.
- Option 2: Open the My Quran Official app → Profile / Support, or use our Contact page, and clearly ask for account deletion. Include your registered email or phone.
After we verify your identity, we will process the request and confirm by email or WhatsApp when the account has been deleted (or explain if more information is needed).
What data is deleted
When your deletion request is completed, we delete or irreversibly anonymize:
- Your account login and profile details (name, email, phone, avatar, roles)
- Device / push notification registrations tied to your account
- In-app learning records linked to you where we are not required to keep them (for example homework drafts, progress notes, support tickets you opened)
- Saved payment method tokens stored for your account (so the card can no longer be charged)
What data may be kept, and for how long
- Billing and invoice records — may be retained for up to 7 years (or as required by applicable tax/accounting law), then deleted or anonymized.
- Security / fraud logs — limited technical logs may be kept for a short period (typically up to 90 days) to protect the service.
- Legal holds — if we must keep data for an ongoing dispute or legal requirement, we will retain only what is necessary until that obligation ends.
Deleting your account ends access to classes and subscriptions linked to that account. Outstanding unpaid invoices may still need to be settled according to our Terms.
